The adjustment area located where the pinion gears meet. If I recall properly, I believe it takes 17mm wrench to do this. Regardless from what I have seen the z3 rack has the same ratio as the purple tag one so both as fast. However the purple one gives more steering angle. Im not sure if there is any difference in terms of heaviness of the steering between the two.
